Pros

-The people, the thing I missed most -Benefits, corporate perks were really nice -Staff appreciation days (monthly birthday cakes, Admin Appreciate Day, RETREATS) -Every Friday, there were booze, wings and pizza -The work is interesting, you're exposed to different industry sectors if you're placed on different cases at a time -Benefits are amazing, no company out there can beat their benefits plan (unlimited chiro appointments FYI) -BCG is great to have on your resume, keyword: career growth

Cons

-Work/life balance is the worst, it will never change to the client-service nature that this company is in and this is why the turnover rate is high (consultants usually stay 2-3 years MAX) -Depending on which partners you support, work can be more fun than others. FI/PIPE sector is the not so fun ones. -Extremely high pressure environment, feedback culture is heavy, not saying it's bad but there are no room to make mistakes and people on your team can be brutally honest at times. If you don't know how to manage all of this, it can greatly affect your mental health and well-being. -Management was terrible, manager often never showed up to the 1:1s or showed 10-15 minutes late for a meeting, not respectful of people's time. Manager would also give admin staff more people to support than what they can handle.
