Pros

Pros include: - Great for CV - Well designed frameworks and methodologies -- you'll learn a lot if you put time in - Generally, cordial and friendly work environment with lots of perks (e.g. free lunches, happy hour, social, etc) - Good compensation / benefits

Cons

My comments reflect working specifically in the Knowledge Practice which is neither Support Services nor Consulting. - Massive reorgs going on -- job changes, eliminations, etc - New more consultant-like job requirements (time, expertise, pressure to bill), same pay - Limited optionality for career growth in KT unless you want to leave and go somewhere else or go into consulting at BCG - Massively hierarchical (nearly draconian) management style of KT Management -- tremendous layers thick with political drama, favoritism and croneyism

Pros

Projects and teams are at the highest possible professional level in the sector. Principal and partners have an incredible knowledge and experties in all business topics and sector and there is a good level of distribution of knowledge and possibility to learn. Salary is very good in absolute term, not so much if you consider the hours that you work

Cons

Work life balance is bad because of the long working hours (avg 65-90 per week) and stress due to the high level of performances required is high. This varies across different offices and south european ones are the worst. Focus on analytics is sometimes excessive compared with the time spent in effective communication and leadership development
