Great staff travel concession as long as you can travel during off peak periods, some amazing people

Cons

Low pay, poor management, inconsistent performance management for non-management employees, last minute changes to the roster

Flexible working if you are lucky Interesting work, great if you like aviation Great people, and very few bad apples Good work environment

Cons

Little or no room for growth unless you are on the graduate scheme or parachuted in from outside the company Lots of pointless exercises, meetings and schemes that are typical of a large corporate Lots of colleagues are just 'part of the furniture' and have been there for decades Failure to recognize ad appreciate talent unless its shown in very specific ways, eg building pointless spreadsheets
