Very engineering-driven working environment. Broadcom has enjoyed success in various segments of the market. There are a lot of smart people around who are very dedicated to technologies. Innovation is highly valued here.

Cons

There has been questionable directions on the investment on the cell phone baseband business (finally they decided to get rid of it). The whole company is dragged down even when all the other BUs are doing quite well.
