Broadcom is a great place for career development. Work schedule is very flexible for good balance of personal and work life. Compensation and benefits are very good. People are friendly and professional. Broadcom appears to be a very ethical company.

The calibre of engineers is high. You can work with and learn from some good people. The work is interesting and sometimes demanding. Opportunities for promotion and growing responsibility exist, but can be limited in some teams. High performance is well rewarded. The office environment is friendly, casual and flexible.

Cons

No formal graduate training plan. Limited training or support if you can't match the capabilities of existing staff - depending on your manager it can be a sink or swim workspace. HR policies are inflexible.
