Pros

Strong position in FC & growth in Datacentres. Benefited from initial technology developments.

Cons

Getting complacent on further R&D. For Datacentres and future, not much differentiating factors compared to any other systems company

A lot of change and turmoil

Pros

Salaries are very competitive with good benefits, bonus structure and stock plans. Most of the people there are great.

Cons

Way too much politicking and land grabbing. CEO changed during my time there, so there was a huge change in executive management. That created a lot of turmoil throughout the company. The CEO announcing right after he started that they would cut cost by $100M turned the place into a revolving door for individual contributors.

Nice building, fun community activities, solid employee benefits with competitive salary scale. Fair work/life balance overall.

Cons

Lacking and weak: leadership, measurable performance, management skill, corporate image, long term innovating technology roadmap. Prefer Mr/Ms Yes rather than those who is daring to make a difference and think outside the box.
