      "Great for investors, not so for employees"

      Pros

      Consistent bonuses, and a pretty decent ESPP for a while. I work with some really smart and fun people!

      Cons

      Where do I begin? New management hasn't shown the ability to improve shareholder value by increasing revenues from sales. Instead, it's all one-trick-pony cost reduction, heavily reinforced by offshoring (which they seem to be very proud of). Morale is at an all-time low since I came here ten years ago, and attrition is very noticeable and having a detrimental impact in engineering.

      Pros

      As being part of an acquired company, the company I was with gave great options and a good salary. You worked on leading edge products and features.

      Cons

      Expected long hours, expected late hours of work lack of options/incentives from Brocade little ability to move between product families Rehashed products no longer bleading edge just cheaper lower price points as of the past several years.
