Pros

- Overtime is always available - Flexible shifts - Hard working people, my team was the best

Cons

Where to start... - Business consultants (DHP) introduced to effectively make the staff's jobs a living nightmare - A new system (Nexus) introduced which times all your tasks - stats have been introduced and you are reviewed on a daily basis to ensure you are on track - the problem with this is that you are given such little time to complete tasks it is impossible to keep up, you are also questioned if your stats are really good, because surely this means we are being given too much time to complete some tasks and this needs to be reduced. - You are questioned at least 3 times a day regarding your stats and you have to provide explanations of why you are behind. You are berated on a daily basis in a team huddle if the team stats are bad (even if your individual stats are good). Please note this is not the Team Leader's fault, they have literally been told they must do this and have been told to become dictators. They are just as frustrated as the rest of us. As you can imagine morale is very low - Business consultants threaten you if you dare to argue against their precious Nexus system, tell your team leader if you are talking too much or if you are making too many drinks (seriously this has happened) and generally parade up and down the office with an air of superiority, we have even been told by them if we don't like the changes we can go elsewhere - Bonuses have been removed, Christmas parties cancelled due to the cost, generally any perk/rewards have been removed - They do not listen to their staff- people are leaving in droves, these are people that have been at Capita for years (myself included) after spending several months voicing my concerns (along with other people) and getting nowhere and not being listened to I had to leave for my own sanity. I saw people on a daily basis in tears due to the current working conditions. People are also going off on sick due to stress. - Clients are being lied to about just how bad things are, teams are behind with work which is getting worse due to staff shortages and Capita not replacing them quick enough.

Pros

Colleagues are generally very helpful and friendly. The office is warm and you have the option to sometimes work from home when the weather conditions don't allow you to get to Delph.

Cons

There is absolutely no way you could progress in your career within this company. KPI's are unrealistic and you feel you are undervalued. Immediate line managers are incapable and untrained.
