      Very open, bright research and academic staff, open culture and a lot of opportunities to develop. Administration is always heplful, perfect place for professional scientists and research assistants.

      Academic research with not much exposure to industrial research.

      Pros

      The whole mentality of the school is very open, they are really flexible, and if there is any problem the doors are always open.

      Cons

      studying at CEU and working there part-time can be hard at times, the studying work load is pretty heavy, especially if you work besides it. I often had to work around my school schedule, which meant working 5-7 hours on weekdays

      Pros

      It provides flexible working times, that's a one big plus; It is a fairly well payed position in comparison to the salary rates in Hungary. You are not included in any dressing code policy due to your environment is a academic area and major expectation from you is to fulfill the requirements of the position.

      Cons

      The drawbacks of the position mostly depends on the person who holds the manager position in the project you are involved. That's the biggest disadvantage because it is a very widely flexible depending on his/her expectations from the position. Although you are always under the protection of university's general rules and regulations it can become a frustrating experience in case that your working environment is not friendly or the project schedule is tightly arranged.
