      Pros

      Good pay, benefits are great, awesome technology. Working for an innovative company that's an industry leader is an experience. The conveniences and ways that you are taken care of as an employee are second to none.

      Cons

      The worst people at this company seem to be bulletproof. Great people go with every layoff while those that make working here a chore seem to last like cockroaches. And work life balance can be nonexistent.

      still a lot of great minds at work, and in some organizations - innovations are still being encouraged. still the #1 in networking in most market segments

      Cons

      politics are getting in the way. people are too busy protecting themselves and are too concerned about who is going to get the credit. risk taking is no longer the norm but the exception.

      Enjoy working on cross functional global teams - love the CVO 9Cisco Virtual Office) solution for telecommute. Great supportive colleagues.

      Cons

      Feels a bit too tight in the new collaborative office space. Not everyone is comfortable with telecommute. Probably right choices with lay-offs last year, but still tough on everyone who left and who stayed.
