      Pros

      You will gain much experience in a very short time because the expectation is always so high since day one. During your career you need to develop your knowledge and skills and its a must, you will have a plan for your manager on what courses you will be taken during the year. So far, the environment at cisco is multicultural and open in term of communication with upper management or any other departments.

      Cons

      You can never guarantee anything regarding your career, Cisco is a great place to work for, but never think about it as a life time job, and even if you could do so, be sure you have lost your life.

      Pros

      Top tier high tech company. The company as a whole treats their employees very well and has great benefits. The CEO, John Chambers, has great vision and heart.

      Cons

      Life and work balance is out of whack. The company expects you to be working whether you are on a vacation or it's a holiday. Everything is about the number you make and you feel like you are just part of the shuffle.
