      Pros

      There is very open communication between employees on projects, and vast learning resources are available. Employees are very focused on providing solutions for customer issues.

      Cons

      The firm is becoming bureaucratic management wise. It takes a long time to make decisions on major product directions. After many acquisitions, the organization is top-heavy, which leaves little room for internal promotion into the higher management ranks.

      Pros

      good place to work, lot of opportunities.A positive company that makes sure that their employees are apprecitated in an apporpriate way. Driving goals from top down to make sure all employees know what direction they are headed in. Cisco is a leader across many different sub-industries within IT: routing, switching, storage, VoIP, wireless, optical, application acceleration, etc. which allows sales engineers to gain a wide breadth of knowledge and exposure across many different technologies and products. Working with Cisco is very fast paced and you get to play with cutting edge technology that has not been released to the mainstream public yet. Cisco sales managers do no micromanage; they give their employees all the freedom and resources needed to get their job done.
