Pros

The people there are nice and willing to help most of the time. There are a lot of resources for career advancement assuming the individual is a self starter. Managers are good at going over goals and making sure employees know where they stand. The health and retirement benefits are very good. There is plenty of interesting and challenging work.

Cons

There too many separations of the businesses so there are some issues navigating the corporation. There is a lot of bureaucracy to work around. There is no set training (at least in the position I was brought into) for new employees.

Pros

Company name recognition. Great place to learn how things are done. Citi is well known throughout the financial industry

Cons

No employee appreciation, slow to get compensation program finalized. Unclear procedures for servicing clients. Heavy favortism. Uneven salary ranges amongst colleague. NO comission even when fully licensed (it is a process ... 7 months and still waiting). Inadequate staffing.
