Pros

Ok training but not always relevant. Good leave package.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations over staff capacity-seen as a 'resource', lack of transparency over promotions, ridiculously confusing performance appraisal process which leads to this opaqueness over pay/promotions.

- Good salary if you get into a team with high visibility - Work hours are moderately relaxed for most teams

Cons

- Forget about promotion if you don't play the politics game - Company lacks technical leadership - Code quality varies a lot between teams - Agile is not properly applied

Pros

My work at Citi was challenging and rewarding. I was lucky to work with some amazing technology colleagues and clients.

Cons

My manager was the reason why I left the bank. HR were next to useless in helping to support my concerns, leaving me with no other option but to leave the bank. A complete bully who should not be allowed to manage people.
