Pros

According to ex-colleagues who had moved on to other banks, Citi Private Bank is comparatively non-political, and truly tries move forward for the business. Colleagues are pretty collegial and open, except for a few mid-level management who can be nasty, as with any workplace.

Cons

Despite the usual talk about meritocracy, it really is about being at the right place at the right time for any movement, lateral or otherwise. Being someone's pet also helps.
