Pros

Slightly above average pay for entry level Medical benefits and discounts for Citi employees Colleagues are very nice! Training provided is quite decent (materials, practice cases etc.)

Cons

- extremely repetitive (if you’re laidback and not keen on learning new skills, this job is for you) - did not gain any new or helpful skills except tolerating incompetent staff/managers - honestly think this job is meant for computers/AI due to its nature and repetitiveness, also the performance is judged based on ‘human errors’ (e.g wrong spelling, missed out info, copied wrong info) which is absolute bonkers, you have to pay A LOT of attention to the work submitted otherwise, bye - I joined this job as a fresh grad and initially thought wow I got into citi (degree field is irrelevant) but later only realised they were probably just mass hiring coz it’s a new department, kinda feels like a trap for fresh grads - very strict regulations/controls, they’re always monitoring every single thing you do, and if you cross the threshold you’re always to blame - constantly indecisive, the methodology is always tweaking here and there and we’re not even provided an explanation as to why there’s so many annoying little changes being made - limited career growth e.g switching to global banking, the job scope is very limited and honestly not much transferable skills, also you have to work for min. 2 years + get promoted at least once to ‘qualify’ for internal mobility - most of the managers are meh (if you’re unlucky you get a really bad one) Advice: this job shouldn’t be your first choice, if you’re desperate for a job, take it but I recommend not staying for more than a year (the turnover rate is fairly high)

Pros

Benefits are acceptable. Colleagues are great.

Cons

Operations position - no overtime paid but you are expected to work 11-12 hours daily to meet SLA No career progression as the high attrition keeps you in your position (since no-one else is left) Unfulfilled promises regarding promotion Experienced staff now just leaves Managers don't care about their employees High stress

Pros

Paternity Leaves and 30 days of leave(if you plan and take)

Cons

You will be asked to work even when you are sick I was forced to work, when I was infected with Covid-19 for UAT sign-off Worked on Sundays and Saturdays to get UAT sign-off No-one has better knowledge on the requirement and entire development happens on phone call. Whatever happens to your family - please sign-in and work for 3 hours minimum.
