      Pros

      More holiday than most retail jobs.

      Cons

      Poor rate of pay, very high expectations of staff compared to other retailers, experiences dependent heavily on store and manager, very narrow progression pathway.

      Thank you for your review. In April this year our Customer Team Members and Team Leaders were awarded a 10% pay increase and we've extended our colleague member discount to 30% off Co-op products in store. Contract offerings can and do vary depending on your store's establishment. If you are looking for a higher contract please discuss with your manager regarding how your availability can support the needs of your store. I would also recommend taking a look at our colleague stories to see the wide range of career journeys our colleagues have taken.       Good for experience but bad for pay

      Manager experience, nice colleagues, control over how you run a shift

      Cons

      Underpaid, stressful, if other people run a bad shift then you're left to make up for it, too much responsibility for the pay.

      We're sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the pay for your role. We recently increased Customer Team Member and Customer Team Leader pay by 10%. Please do speak to your manager if you are having concerns over your workload or if you believe that other members of your team need support.
