This job was great. I got to fill bags and scan stuff every day and then once I got a promotion so I made 50p more an hour. Then I left

Customers kept looking at you like you were something stuck to their shoe. Not like a dog poo though

Thankyou for your review, it's great to hear you enjoyed what you did everyday when at the Co-op. Regarding pay, we signed a two-year pay deal last year which means that 40,000 colleagues in food stores will receive a pay rise of 8.5% by the end of October 2016. This increase takes the pay above the national living wage.

I don't have fixed days that i was working so it was hard to make plans

Thankyou for your review. It's lovely to hear that you are enjoying your time at the Co-op. Don't forget about Double Discount days every pay day weekend, bump that 10% up to 20%. If you have preferred days you would like to work do speak to your manager about this they should try to accommodate requests as much as possible when managing the rota.

You get an out of date mobile to use, which has a long battery life.

Cons

Worst Insurance company I have worked for. Low pay & benefits. Poor IT. So far behind it's competitors. Not sure where they are going, although Co op think they do.

Hi, sorry to hear you feel like we don't have a direction. We're currently overhauling and investing a lot in our IT systems in Insurance and will have a new operating model very soon. We're also heavily investing in our colleagues. All 60,000 colleagues across the business are taking part in Back to Being Co-op workshops which helps highlight the Co-op difference and our direction for the future. ^Catherine
