Pros

Cons

Bullying Favouritism Expected to do jobs outside of contract such as picking up leaves from outside behind warehouse rather than hire gardener Pressured to come into work when ringing up sick Failure to provide reasonable adjustments such as not too much time on checkout/kiosk to prevent panic attacks Ignoring staff when panic attacks occur. Homophobic bullying/racist comments. Asking staff member if they are pregnant as a "joke". Opening up an extra hour on a sunday (7 hours) to serve vulnerable rather than browsing, therefore breaking the law. Prepaying people hours and telling them that they owe hours (essentially forced overtime.) Management disappearing to chat upstairs, removing headsets and not answering calls. Consistently making shifts just short of giving breaks in order for them to save cash. (Not very ethical towards staff.) Staff members coming to work stoned.
