Flexible working - perfect for students

Pros

Allowed me to work part time during my a-level studies with the opportunity for further overtime possible. Great training processes. Opportunity to progress within the shop - I was promoted and able to gain supervisor experience. Further flexibility, allowed me to return to my position during the term breaks from university.

Cons

Some members of staff who have worked their longer tend to be stuck in their ways. Management can be dodgy. Some lead by example and some would just rather delegate. Classic shop culture can sometimes become tedius and uncomfortable.

Progression is very slow and minimal, very institutionalized, Clicks in the work place, diversity and equality is in theory
