Working in convenience retail can be challenging and we know how hard our frontline colleagues work to make their stores a great shopping experience for our customers. Over the last three years we have awarded our store colleagues above inflation pay rises and continue to align pay to the Real Living Wage. We hope that you were able to speak to your manager over any concerns you had with your workload as they would be in the best position to advise on which, if any of your tasks could have been prioritised or delegated.

good pay for those without higher education.

Cons

systems are ancient, hard to work with, youre expected to take a lot of abuse from customers and will be reprimanded for as little as sighing on a long phone call.

We'd ask that you reflect on how you would feel being on the end of a call where someone was sighing and how this might make you feel.
