      UTC is destroying what was a good company to work for

      Good work Good pay for the area

      We were promised that Collins Aerospace would be a combination of the "best" of UTC Aerospace and Rockwell Collins, however it's becoming clear that really means assimilating to UTC's culture. Aramark runs the cafeteria Benefits keep getting worse

      UTC cuts engineer salary by 6%, and increased manager salary by 25%

      Was good until UTC bought Collins.

      Cons

      I have 25 year at Collins Aerospace as an engineer, but they crossed the line today. UTC Cut engineer salary by 4% and reduced 401K contributions by 2%, for a total of 6%. But all managers got a 15 to 25% pay bump. The good ole boys gave themselves a promotion and a pay bump off the backs of the hard working engineers. Please do not work at Collins or UTC, you will not have a future.

      I have a job and get a paycheck.

      Been at Rockwell well over 10 years and loved it. Such a different environment with UTC. It has gone downhill and knew it would because UTC has a terrible reputation. Look somewhere else.
