Pros

It's a job ??????? Questionable

Cons

1st they hire you for one job and once you complete open enrollment they try to place you with another company within Conduent, which is not what I was hired for. I am now working for HealthEquity (and when i tell you) I'm stress theeee heck out. I have no problem with my calls being monitored, if I'm trained correctly i know the answers, (which I do) they harp on if your on the phone for over 7 minutes you need to let the chat know, we have to check back on the member every 3 minutes if we place them on hold(i understand that) we have a 4 part hold, we have to be sympathetic, and provide educational opportunities ( even if the member really does not want) we do the closing reiterating what the member called for and thank them for calling member service ( If you miss any of the 7 or 8 steps your graded poorly. From my class we lost 85 employees, they resigned (because the hours were not what was offered). The best part when we were moved Health equity does not offer raises SO WHAT EVER YOU CAME IN MAKING THAT IS IT. ( I WAS HIRED RAISES WERE A PART OF THE DEAL) SINCE SWITCHING TO HEALTHEQUITY UUHHH NO

Pros

Decent pay, benefits are offered

Cons

“Go where you are celebrated not tolerated” A wise person once told me that. Conduent showed me exactly what that statement means. As a person of color you are expected to stay in your place and not expect to go too much beyond that. Nevermind if you show up to training friendly, personable, ready to learn. They do not want you there other than to be “under” them. The white trainers will not help you but turn around and give special treatment to those with white skin. This work from home set up has given people the opportunity and comfortability to show their true colors. And this company has a race issue. Accommodations were made but why should I have to be accommodated because of someone else’s racist and unprofessional behavior? I did nothing wrong. Ultimately I quit this job within 7 days because I choose not to work in a space where systemic racism is so overt and obvious it would knock your socks off.

Pros

$15/hr, remote, ok scheduling, easy interview.

Cons

The customers are allowed to cuss you clean out and you’re expected to continue working without a break like nothing happened, they don’t raise your pay, you’re stuck at 15 even though we deserve more than 15 for the work we do, they don’t care about their employees AT ALL! Even if you were to move along in the company and get a higher or better position, the pay rate DOES NOT CHANGE! YOU ARE STUCK AT 15. YOUR MANAGER GETS PAID THE SAME AS YOU! We get graded by customers and most times, customers will be mad at the company and will grade the call and the agent has to deal with it which in turn the agent can lose their job due to the scores received by the customer about the company and policies, as I’m a good worker, so the bad scores I get are because the customer doesn’t like the company or the policy. So because they don’t have a separate survey, it ends up being the agent’s fault and we’re told to do better when we are doing the best we could do, hence where the “they don’t care about their employees” come in because you will lose your job because the customers don’t like the company or policy and they give you a bad score which in turns threatens your job. HIGH TURNOVER RATE!! For a good reason to! The managers don’t care nor do they help! I’ve had this job mess with my money on several occasions and had to fight for MYSELF while my managers did nothing, their managers did nothing, I have to take it through the escalation process in order for the managers to do something! They don’t offer an actual IT support department, you are the IT support with 0 training to actually help. All you can do is offer little troubleshooting steps and that’s it. It doesn’t help nor solve all the problems. There’s a competition between the two locations that are doing the same job. Friendly competition is nice, but the managers will not help others from the different location! They are rude and micromanage and they don’t offer actual help when needed! They allow us to fend for ourselves while the people who work for their location received the help they need. Scheduling-stuck schedule unless they decide to change it by either taking hours away or adding new ones with little notice. If you want weekends off, you will be working the closing shift, 2-10:30 or 2:30-11, which has little to no vto offered for that shift while earlier shifts get better vto options as well they work weekends, which is where you’ll run into the problem with the other location. They make you focus just on work and out work ABOVE ALL and you don’t have actual time to take care of what is needed as days off are spread far apart when working an earlier shift and getting a m-f with weekends off allows some time to get stuff done, but not if need to see a doctor which are usually opens only during the weekdays, so you’ll have to take time off.
