Pros

The hours and pay we’re great. You’re making 15 an hour and working 10 hour shifts. You basically work alone with exception of having to be a team when the belt machine is on. Once you figure out what you’re doing, everything is easy.

Cons

You’re on call so I hope you don’t have any plans because you have to be ready whenever they are. You don’t have a set schedule, you don’t know when you’re leaving because you can only leave when you are done for the day. If your manager doesn’t have the papers to sort the packages done on time, then you have to wait for extended amounts of time. It’s very unorganized. The warehouse I worked at was very small so we didn’t get many machines to help with the work therefore, everything was done by hand. You’re on your feet the entire time you’re there, there isn’t a set lunch time. On some days, you don’t even have time to take a break and eat lunch because there is so much work to do. I quit after a month of working there.

Dear colleague, Thanks for dropping by here on Glassdoor and leaving us your valuable feedback. Unfortunately, it is not as good as we would like it to be, but that's another reason to take it into account for the planning of further improvement actions. A good work-life balance must also include reasonable schedules and work plans. There are situations of higher workloads, especially in moments of peak seasons, yet this should not affect the needed balance that employees deserve. We are working hard through these exceptionally difficult times to make our core mission a reality, connecting people, improving lives, and this has brought challenges that put pressure on the operation, however it's because of the hard work of our workers and leaders that we have accomplished so much! Also, open communication should be fostered throughout the company, and unsupportive and isolated work environments shouldn't be promoted. We sincerely thank you for the work done during your time with us, all the best in your future projects. Warm greetings, Your DHL Team

Pros

- Multinational conglomerate with a well-structured organization chart & fleshed out career progression - Cafeteria, gym, game room and rooftop garden provided - Plenty of internal company activities including Toastmasters, dance class, band practice, going green by planting edible foods in gardens. - Parking provided. - Cyberjaya has plenty of good Arabic food restaurants in the area.

Cons

- Fresh graduates are placed into low paying "Graduate Trainee" titles between 1.5 - 2 years. - Rigid structure. Any software installed needs to have management approval. Need to wait 2 weeks to get approval for open-source code editor software like Notepad++ - Cyberjaya is one of the least populous cities in Klang Valley. Almost non-existent nightlife.

Pros

Formerly UK MAIL, Company as a whole is improving, reasonable wage for day/office staff. Management proactive in getting everything done. Few different schemes for saving money and training courses available.N

Cons

Night shift wage is considerably LOW. 50p more than day shift. In house FLT course is non transferrable. Staff are expected to go above and beyond with workload, can be overworked. Cost management is second to none, unfortunately you feel this working for the business. Company benefits are quite poor compared to some competitors. Drivers are overworked at times, while they are self employed sub contractors, ive seen drivers finishing at 1130pm and coming back in at 5am during some of the busiest times, again where money is always trying to be saved drivers are often coaxed into taking parcels that are clearly overweight.
