Low pay, low morale, okay workplace.
Pros
Flexible vacation, decent insurance, hands-off management, and decent work-life balance. The DXC experience really depends on your immediate supervisor. I was lucky enough to have an understanding manager, so the poor working conditions at DXC were tolerable. It’s fine as a job for a year or two, just don’t get comfortable. DXC is not a career - do your time, get a pay check, then leave when something better comes along.
Cons
No pay raise or bonus in years, even if an employee receives an excellent review. Vacation and working condition can be a nightmare with the wrong manager. Little room to learn or move up in the company, company does little for in-house training or education. DXC doesn’t value employees at all, only squeezing $1.01 out of $1. Employee are viewed as replaceable corporate cogs. Benefits were scaled back over the last several years. Massive brain drain in the last 3 years since most talented employees left for the reasons above.
