      Company does not care to keep US employees. Cares more about saving money and outsourcing to India.

      Pros

      Could work from home 1-2 days a week. Had flexible hours, decent holidays, average vacation which started at two weeks.

      Cons

      Low pay for each job position compared to market value. Zero job security, everyone I talked to that was corporate level did not feel their job would be there much longer. Company does not care to keep US employees. Cares more about saving money and outsourcing to India. While I was there they completely wiped out the accounting and finance teams.

      Pros

      Just about everyone at level 5 and below in the management chain is great to work with.

      Cons

      No raises.. ever. Hard work and institutional knowledge is rewarded with layoffs. Current chaos due to HPES merger, was not well thought out operationally.

      Pros

      I have been with CSC for over 15 years, for the first 12 years pay was competitive and I have always had directors who were fair and overall good bosses to work for.

      Cons

      In the last 5 years promotions have been limited and there have been no raises. With all of the layoffs, job security is very low. The company spends millions on consultants however the overall culture of the company has gotten worse. All vacation within the US (and any country without work counsels) is not accrued so while it's advertised as flex vacation and you can take as much vacation as you want, vacation must be approved by your manager. Typically work weeks are 50 hours if you are salaried, and even then you are expected to work ever longer. And you reward is that you might not make the next round of layoffs.
