Insurance Healthcare Representative
Pros
Excellent coworkers and supervisors who really made you feel like a part of the team. Very busy environment so time always went by very fast and the hours were 10am-6:30 (depending on the state you worked with) were just right. No traffic to deal with and easy to get things done before work if need be.
Cons
CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!! They do not pay their employees well regardless of experience. The best analogy I can think of is they pay you 4 figure wage to do a 6 figure job. Insurance is astronomically expensive and their 401k contribution is a joke.. The systems are antiqued, good luck finding/giving an answer to a provider that doesn’t involve a long down out response that seldom solves the issue. And be prepared for another call back regarding the same problem however you’ll get a completely different answer/solution that once again seldom solves the issue. And Interdepartmental communication is forbidden. You must always go thru a team lead or supervisor. No training provided to each department about what the other departments do. More information needs to be shared between departments so each has a better understanding of what the other does. And good luck being promoted or receiving a pay raise (not even a small .5% or 1.0%).
