Pros

I purposefully chose DataArt when I was looking for a new job, and I never had to regret it. Compensation, work space, flexibility, light and friendly atmosphere and, most important to me, ability to learn and grow as a developer — all of these are why I just love this company. Recommended it to a couple of my friends as well, and they say they are thankful now that they work here too.

Cons

They used to have a live chameleon in my city's office. Now it's gone and the office has become less exciting place to visit.

Hello! Thank you for the review! It's a pleasure to know that our work towards creating a positive vibe and place for professional development is appreciated. We are still not sure about the pets as far as some of the colleagues won't be happy to share space with pets in the office.

Pros

Many of them, great people, flexible schedule, comfortable working places, ability to work from home, lot's of cookies, internal education system

Cons

Management could do a bit better in reacting to official complaints from employees. Some courses in education system are not too informational and lack real-world examples. English skills assessment is too strict and entirely based on teachers personal opinions

Hi! Thank you for the review! Many comments for us to consider. We are continuously improving our education system. We recently launched Skillotron, a community-based game that challenges players and educates them about various aspects of their field. Players can rank themselves against other players on the knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Android, iOS or general IT. Feel free to let us know what courses you were referring to and we will pass your feedback along.

Great company with a flat structure

Anonymous employee

Pros

Flat, non-hierarchical structure, where CEOs are sitting next to other employees. Everybody can ask anything. Company values are logical and very appealing for me - main here is the employees, and the company itself is a bunch of employees, that want to live in peace with each other and collectively give themself some way to earn money. Paradoxically, this paradigm still works despite the constant growth of the company

Cons

No production offices in the Western Europe or in the USA
