      Don't ignore the red flags

      My time at Deel was mentally draining and I ignored many red flags from the beginning. This started with a recruitment process where I was 'forced' to make a decision within 24 hours and where negotiation wasn't possible. Onboarding was short and sales performance was expected after only a couple of weeks. Targets were unrealistic and we were micromanaged intensely. Expect doing 100 cold calls a day and mass emailing every company in the country. Being ill and taking time off were frowned upon and don't be surprised if your manager calls you after work hours or during your holiday.

      Red flags

      Pros

      the only they they can offer is remote work, however they'd expect you to work 24/7 or till admit to hospital, they'd clap for ya

      Cons

      Unprofessional management, poor understand of market outside of the state, no compassion, poor salary and no benefits at all, they only hire you a as a full time employee when the local labor law are strong. the rest will only got 7 days of notice period if they want to terminate you. The only thing they care is revenue, and they've even taken away more benefits. Connect with someone working in deel first before taking the offer, pls don't hesitate to do that.
