      Pros

      Decent pay and outstanding coworkers. Lots of vacation time and work from home time. Better than unemployment, I suppose. Some jobs are not as good.

      Cons

      Expensive healthcare that falls short. No ESPP. Benefit reductions over past few years costing employee thousands of dollars. No rewards and recognition program, just some "Inspire" nonsense that replaces real bonuses with some small giftcards and such. Employees expected to work and work in an environment with routine layoffs.

      Pros

      - Decent work if you are get in to core of core products. - Work life balance. - Job security (Relatively stable company and less frequent layoffs).

      Cons

      - Average pay - Less hike (Once per year appraisal, average hike is around 8%). - Less benefits (Not much perk, No free food/snacks, Not so good transportation) - Peer quality is average. - Not an engineering focused organization. - Clearly better than service companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc. - Clearly lower than NetApp, Cisco, Juniper, Nvidia, etc. - Not comparable with Amazon, Microsoft, Nutanix, etc.
