Dell tries to run things as tight as inhumanly possible. In my current role, I often have to field phone, chat, and web cases when I was hired to do only phone. Staffing is always an issue and as a result, the queues are always overworked, overburdened, and heavily micromanaged by people who either don't understand the job or don't care to. Poor management tactics abound, including baseless threats to you company brand and gaslighting. Overall, my experience was bad for the first four years, great for the next three, and this last year has been terrible.

Unfair treatment, condescending, lots of being yelled at, too many sales prevention tasks; LOTS of administrative work prevented closing sales in a more timely fashion. Been in the I.T. business for almost 20 years prior to my time there and absolutely the worst management and all but one of my old bosses/manager/owners I've worked with I have loved and adored them and it was seemingly reciprocal - and I've worked in 6 different companies - manufacturers and channel.
