Pros

True work from home. I never met anyone I worked with in person. Good benefits and paid maternity leave. Ability to focus on a single project at a time.

Cons

Laying off top employees employees and denying bonuses while showcasing off resplendant and expensive new offices shows a real lack of focus on priorities. There's been a serious brain drain here. You need to have an Eastern European name and accent to be truly successful.

-Emphasis and investment on employee learning and development -Flexible work arrangements

Cons

1. A conservative mindset that underpins everything they do, leading to tight budgets everywhere, and sensitive, insecure employees who fear getting outshone when someone else comes in and does a better job. 2. They try to hire for as cheap as possible but still have the audacity to charge clients big time. 3. Very biased in favour of engineers, in terms of referral programs and financial support for certification/further education. 4. They frown upon people trying to champion themselves. People tend to need to pull rank in order to get others moving, if you are an individual contributor who isn't from the CIS region and leading a project, expect things to move really slowly. 5. Only started a DEI department in recent 2 years, people there aren't really ready to talk about sensitive topics like LGBTQ. 6. They've lost huge business in 2023, and some of their best salespersons left, and many have been let go or quit before they were hit. 7. People are often based out at client offices, most of us feel very disengaged from the company itself.

Pros

They are show off for benefits and package , never join this place.

Cons

I left my 3 other offers and joined EPAM in July 2022. They were doing mass hiring.. every Monday 14-15 people were joining. They kept telling me that you don’t have to worry about getting projects, at my experience it will come eventually and gave me confidence that this is normal in epam culture to wait for projects and I am not the only one facing this. One day after 3 months all of a sudden they fired and told that it’s your last day as they they can’t find clients for me. The truth is that they do not have projects and they keep hiring people and don’t care about the employees and fire mercilessly. It’s name should be SPAM !!! Not EPAM. Bogus company and no values. Racist and political leaders.

We’re sorry to hear that this is how you feel about EPAM. Every effort is made to ensure our new joiners are supported, and given the tools and resources required to help them succeed. Our managers play an active role in this, and work closely with their new team members, particularly during probation to make sure everything is on the right track. Unfortunately, as with any business, sometimes there is a lack of fit and a difficult decision is made to end probation early. This is not a decision EPAM makes lightly, and it is based on specific criteria. As an incredibly diverse organisation with locations across the globe, we always work as One EPAM and we follow an employee centric approach, prioritising our people. Our values underpin a lot of what we do, and this year in particular we have focused on creating widescale positive social impact through our support of Ukrainian employees in particular. While we appreciate that you did not have a positive experience towards the end in EPAM, we also understand that this experience is not fully reflective of our company or culture.
