Pros

- customers; - offices web; - projects and technologies;

Cons

- low salary, below a market; - there's no a pay raise (at least during my last 2 years): they're saying that there's a crisis and at the same time complaining about record profits; - there's is no carrier opportunities: they says that assessment is only about your skills growth and not about money, and at the same time they put assessments on hold; - they say that employees are their main value, at the same time they drop you off if you don't have a project; - all this cons applies only on production engineers, who pays for mistakes of management. Management doesn't have a pay raise or a assessment on hold; - our local management was really bad; we had a huge list of problems but management didn't want to listen us;

Pros

- Emphases on employee learning & development. There are a lot of internal tooling & learning resources to assist employees career growth. - (Somewhat) transparent career progression. - Generally friendly manager, but this vary from location to location. - Allow to "rotate" to another client company after a certain period of time, but still requires interview with the client company.

Cons

- Heavily exposed to market macroeconomics. The market downturn of 2023 force the company to cut cost, result in lesser increment and bonus. There are also lesser client companies/projects to work with. However, to be fair, the company didn't do any mass layoff. - As employees are mostly deployed at client side, the manager are heavily "detached" from employee's day-to-day performance, and can cause mismatch during performance review. - Working environment (colleague/manager that you work with day-to-day, work-life balance and culture) are heavily dependents on which client company you deployed to, so take other reivew's comment on working environment with a grain of salt. Some of the cons listed above are not entirely the company's fault, but rather the "nature" of a consultant company. But I still want to highlight it here so you can compare the pros and cons working in a consultant company vs directly under a company.
