Pros

Big opportunities to improve if you want, ongoing offline and online courses, english classes in office. A lot of nice internal tools, really good working environment with top monitors and pc, very clean and good office space. Benefits like dentist and medical insurance, which is nice. As was told, transparent process of growth within company, possibilities of changing specialty. For those interested - possibility to move to another EPAM office to "any part of the world", but don't forget that you would need to have 1.5 years of continuous work experience in EPAM and be at senior level minimum to make it happen. The company itself is really nice.

Cons

Unfortunately, you can be unlucky to be put to bad project, as was I, where there are always a lot of problems either from customer side or from ours - for example no testing environments (!), constant lack of permissions, hence blocking the work, very slow virtual machines, various system failures and bugs... Project can be changed, but working in such mess is sometimes insufferable. Also know that salary increases can be postponed without a reason, and in the time when they said it will be increased to somehow adequate amount - nope, no increase, but it will be soon.. Salary is quite small btw for juniors. Ratting in my experience. Don't be surprised when resource manager will immediately know every mistake or "stupid" question you've asked someone, because some team member will tell RM about it right away. It really hinders your learning in the job... I was even told to stop watching educational courses on the job once, like.. what? It's all more specific to my particular experience and it will differ on another project, but thats just my two cents here.

Pros

A lot of ways as an employee to improve

Cons

Not really a con, but nothing else comes to my mind; deadlines. It probably doesn't affect everyone but there are some certain cases when some overtime is expected from the employee. It is not regular at all (only had to do 1 time in half year).
