Ok place to work but you need to sell, sell, sell
Pros
Continuing education and curriculum is very good. Available thought leadership is good ... could be better, Ability to move up through the lower ranks (thru Manager) is very good. Great exposure to the Finance and Business world for someone just out college or graduate school. Experience gained will serve you well anywhere. Usually find yourself working with some very smart people.
Cons
Politics are huge. More so then competitors I've worked at. It's obvious early on that promotion to and beyond Manager is all politics. Seen colleagues passed over because they were not politically aligned. Though every promotion metric was met or exceeded. Eventually it becomes "Up or Out". You have so many years to move up. Unspoken, but there. If your a seasoned professional I'd not recommend EY. Unless your a "salesman" and being political a personal strong point.
