Pros

Good compensation, very nice campus.

Cons

Unprofessional degrading contradictory management. No levitity what so ever, and no moral amongst peers and management. Standard procedures are never up to date, therefore leading to lots of confusions, which results in poor production and errors, which later leads to management unprofessional criticism. Management doors are always closed, very unapproachable, and very clicky.

Pros

None. Appears to be highly credible from the outside, but inside quite the contrary in every way possible. Managers and supervisors are extremely incompetent, lack solid leadership skills, clear thinking and calm judgment.

Cons

-Critical Care Labeling department management degraded employees, lacked skills, knowledge and credentials to hold management positions. -No clear milestones or deadlines with unsubstantiated expectations. -Constant change in seating arrangements, overall structure of project plan causing employees to sit around with nothing to do for weeks on end awaiting a solid direction. -Unstable work environment. -Zero tolerance for dialogue; even work related exchanges among co-workers. -Intimidation tactics practiced regularly. -No respect for employees. -No point of view from employees welcome. -Average life of a good employee 3-4 months max. -Immediate termination of employees who refuse to entertain management's bullying. -Lack of visibility to project forecasting. -Unprofessional demeanor and dialogue in town hall type of environment among management causing distraction in quality environment. -Management full of volatile decision making, changing weekly based on their poor judgment, even if it means they get to go home at 4 PM and employees stay at work until 8 PM or come in on weekends. -No emphasis on QUALITY in document control FDA regulated environment.

Pros

Wonderful people to work with but you will find that at most places. Good pay and benefits. Clean and progressive facility and building. Cutting edge training offered but no time to take any of it. Some of the employee meetings they show patient videos which drives home the purpose of the business.

Cons

Difficult people to work for. Employees are not a resource to be developed but a commodity to be consumed and discarded. Not a lot of seasoned employees - lots of university interns and recent graduates with minimal experience but a willingness to work long hours. Edwards sought me out and I was hoping for a long term career. I figured out within the first couple of months that this would not be the case. Friends, family and past colleagues that contact me about working for Edwards - I suggest that they look elsewhere for employment. Management believes that true motivation comes from having your job threatened. An extremely toxic work environment. 10 - 11 hrs a day is the expectation.
