Pros

Earnings and future growth potential for Edwards is great! Profit sharing is a great plus!

Cons

One of the worse HR I've seen. Don't expect HR to help you on conflicts with those in higher position. This HR here is to protect the company. Don't ever move from a lower income country to Irvine even if you are a director. Diversity is just minorities and nothing about experiences and ideas. Thinking out of the box is potential acceptance of unrelated ideas.

Pros

Great campus and amenities, for those who have the time to make use of it. Benefits are satisfactory, but not as good as they should be for such a successful company. Pay and bonus are good. Superior R&D/new products.

Cons

In manufacturing, no work life balance. Relentless overtime due to refusal to staff appropriately. Work EVERY holiday in maintenance. Zero process improvement, with the largest engineering group at it's access I have seen in my career. Lack of serious cGMP experience throughout the operation, "this is the way we have always done it". They have very experienced technicians to aid them in all areas, including new equipment purchases and Process Improvement, their arrogance will not allow then to utilize those resources. Serious lack of direction, ability to improve and move forward. All the resources any company would want, but completely unable to utilize any of them. Mandatory Annual Physical, if you decline, your medical benefits cost 4 times higher, a complete invasion of privacy. More managers on one campus than anyone thought possible, completely political environment.
