Pros

I have had the privilege of working at Deel for several years now, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. One of the standout features of this company is the flexibility it offers in terms of work location. Whether you prefer the comfort of your home or any other place of your choosing, Deel supports a remote work culture that allows you to thrive wherever you are. The sense of community at Deel is remarkable, with communication streamlined through platforms like Slack. This not only fosters a strong sense of connection among colleagues but also ensures fast and instant responses, creating an efficient and collaborative work environment. One of the aspects that makes Deel a great place to work is the opportunities for professional growth and advancement. The company values its employees and actively encourages career development. With numerous avenues for promotion and the flexibility to change positions, Deel empowers its workforce to shape their career trajectories. Moreover, Deel is an innovative workplace that embraces change. The management fosters a culture of openness, allowing employees to express themselves freely and share new ideas. The company encourages the adoption of new technologies, providing employees with the freedom to choose and implement tasks in ways that align with their strengths and preferences. In the face of market challenges over the past few years, Deel has demonstrated resilience and sustained growth. The company's ability to weather difficulties and continue recruiting speaks volumes about its stability and commitment to its employees. In conclusion, Deel is not just a workplace, it's a dynamic and supportive community that embraces change, and provides ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. I am proud to be a part of this forward-thinking organization and look forward to contributing to its continued success.

Cons

Working at Deel is a fulfilling experience, but it comes with its share of challenges: The fast-paced nature of work at Deel can be demanding, leading to elevated stress levels. Deel's dynamic environment means frequent changes, requiring quick adaptation, and can sometimes pose challenges in staying updated. These challenges are inherent to Deel's growth-oriented culture. While they may be demanding, they contribute to a rewarding experience for those who thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Pros

Supportive management, clear expectations, good money, work from home culture is dialed in

Cons

Deel Speed is real. Not for everyone, but as I said, expectations are reasonable and compensation is appropriate so I don't see it as a con per se.

Pros

- Fully remote - Mostly nice and talented people, you can learn a bunch and the atmosphere is good in the beginning - Once you realize you're not ever getting a raise you can get by doing bare minimum - You can write the ceo on slack and he will respond, which is actually insane considering its such a huge company

Cons

- Everyone is underpaid, even the senior directors. They present employee equity as extra compensation, but make it very difficult to sell shares at secondaries. - Raise/promotion policies are set up in a way where most ppl will never get it. I've seen superstar employees get 2% annual raise. The rest got 1%. - Pay is localized, so you can do the same exact job but get pay half of the compensation if you're not based in the US. - It's either employee contract for less money, and you have some employee rights given to you by your country, or more money but you're getting misclassified on a b2b contract and using vaction days when you get sick. The actual work requirements and responsibilities are the same in both cases. - If you're not drinking the koolaid you better fall in line and keep any opinions challenging the status quo to yourself - Manager can get pretty manipulative, they'll say anything to appease you, but will not act in your interest unless it aligns with their internal politics play
