Pros

I've been part of the Deel family for two incredible years, and it's undeniably one of the best decisions I want to share my personal experience working with the fastest-growing SaaS startup in history; working at Deel has been a rewarding experience, thanks to: - Great Team Culture: Deel has a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone feels valued. Deel is genuinely inclusive, creating an environment where every member feels valued and encouraged to contribute. - Dreaming Big and Ownership We're not just employees but owners, fostering a strong sense of commitment. Taking ownership of our roles with a collective commitment that goes beyond the conventional mindset. - True Remote Work Experience: Working across multiple time zones is not a challenge but an opportunity, thanks to a helpful and accommodating team that ensures seamless collaboration. - Measuring Deliverables: The emphasis on measuring deliverables provides clarity and direction, empowering Deelers to take ownership of their projects and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s goals. - Building HR for the Future: We are passionate about building something great. Deel is at the forefront of shaping the future of HR. We are building a generational company. Two years ago, during my final interview, I expressed to Alex my wish to have joined Deel much earlier. His response, "We're just getting started; there is a lot to do!" set the tone for an exhilarating journey. Fast forward to today, we've tripled our team size, more than doubled our clients, and introduced a range of new tools to our product suite. Proud to be part of the journey.

Cons

I can't think of any.

Pros

Supportive management, clear expectations, good money, work from home culture is dialed in

Cons

Deel Speed is real. Not for everyone, but as I said, expectations are reasonable and compensation is appropriate so I don't see it as a con per se.

Pros

- Fully remote - Mostly nice and talented people, you can learn a bunch and the atmosphere is good in the beginning - Once you realize you're not ever getting a raise you can get by doing bare minimum - You can write the ceo on slack and he will respond, which is actually insane considering its such a huge company

Cons

- Everyone is underpaid, even the senior directors. They present employee equity as extra compensation, but make it very difficult to sell shares at secondaries. - Raise/promotion policies are set up in a way where most ppl will never get it. I've seen superstar employees get 2% annual raise. The rest got 1%. - Pay is localized, so you can do the same exact job but get pay half of the compensation if you're not based in the US. - It's either employee contract for less money, and you have some employee rights given to you by your country, or more money but you're getting misclassified on a b2b contract and using vaction days when you get sick. The actual work requirements and responsibilities are the same in both cases. - If you're not drinking the koolaid you better fall in line and keep any opinions challenging the status quo to yourself - Manager can get pretty manipulative, they'll say anything to appease you, but will not act in your interest unless it aligns with their internal politics play
