Pros
Remote and great people to work along (colleagues)
Cons
The amount of work you put down on average 10+ hours makes your "hourly pay" bad even if you would work that much to get paid. Pay is moderate, and lots of changes that goes against you as a CSM when you're expected to carry a BOB of 7m ARR and just figure stuff out because product breaks all the time, people not doing their job properly and you have to carry that burden on your shoulders. Anything that is close to being a strategic CSM it's not possible as how much the reactive work just runs you over, the constant stress and pressure from leadership is insane, their stuff should be prio in 5 min and you more or less should do as your told or you will not be liked. Promotion only happens if you're political enough and thats if thats enough, don't expect to be promoted fast. They lock you in as long as possible before handing it out. If you value yourself and want to have a normal work-life balance without being constant online don't go here. And vacation that didn't even existed it felt more times hard to get any approved because your team need to cover for you as that could give one very high workload. This is only for desperate measures if you decide to take it and you probably will end up switching anyway as this place won't get better if management doesn't change for starters and then the product actually working and not CSM being the glue to everything.
