After the 'Technical Lead' position, the next step could be moving into 'Subject Matter Expert' - or SME - or perhaps a Technical Lead is another (more technical) line of business. This could also be the point where you start looking at leadership positions or other types of support roles! (Like Technical Training) If you're still an employee at Tek Experts, I would encourage you to talk to your manager about your career goals and start putting a detail plan in place on how to get there.
