Pros

Progression can be okay if you stick it out the misery long enough, but not guaranteed.

Cons

Awful hours 7:45 - until 6:30/7 everyday, 30 min lunch break, always busy and stressful, inexperienced young branch managers who micro mange your full day, feels like retail, terrible pay for the hours that you do, no work life balance as you have to come in most Saturdays and they tell you “hours aren’t the same on Saturday”but they near enough are.

Pros

Amazing management program, room to grow in your career and increase your salary, long term career path. The Branch Managers have it easy and dont have to wash cars, they get to take any car off the lot home at night, you can be that and they give you all the tools to make it happen. This job will make you a hard worker, once you have a 9-5 or something it will be a cake walk compared to Enterprise. You will forever be stronger. Once you work 60 hour weeks in customer service wearing a suit washing cars, at an airport 24/7 open 24/7 on some 6 day work weeks, or you pull some 5 12’s at Enterprise or something you can’t say you've worked hard! This place makes soft into hard and sharp. And you do it all while looking good and shaking hands with a smile on your face. Customer service! - Enterprise will set you up later in life with great skills, an awesome work ethic, and they literally teach you how to run a business from top to bottom. You will learn the financials, repossessing vehicles, maintenance, billing, employee development, leadership, management etc.

Cons

Long work weeks, and you are the face of customer service to the General Public. That is probably the worst part… then General Public.

Pros

Great people to work with. Little to no supervision. Relatively easy work.

Cons

No longer does the company shed their vehicles at 20K miles. Because of Covid, they keep their fleet and their vehicles for sometimes 100K miles before selling them. What that means is, sometimes your driving vehicles that have engine problems or flat tires or worse. When you're racing to get from Denver to Pueblo it can be dangerous. The part timers get no benefits. Sometimes sent home early due to no work and the lowest pay around. No training for the job.
