Pros

Nice coworkers, talking to/ meeting interesting customers, learn sales pitch/ gain sales experience.

Cons

Long hours, 7am-6pm at home city locations. They transfer trainees to the airport location after a number of months claiming they only send the "best of the best" there. The hours there suck; you rotate through different shifts, but there will be weeks where you won't get out until 1AM, which feels tremendously exhausting when you're at work 10-11 hours a day. You learn more about business management at home city locations, at the airport you're just a ticket walking machine. You can be the greatest salesman but there are days where it's impossible to sell due to the demographic of clientele, which causes management to look down on you. On top of working 10-11 hours daily, you have to keep up with the intensive training/ promotion program they have. Which you have to study for; feels like a stressful college work load all over again. You will literally have no time to do anything else but sleep and work, repeat, sometimes you will not have time to eat. You'd think they'd provide more of a pay incentive for the amount of workload they put you through...

Beware. ERAC IS A CULT

Pros

You get paid. You learn to lie very well, not just to customers, but fellow employees and upper management.

Cons

It's a cult. Google "cult tactics." Go into any large branch on a Wednesday (typically the slowest day) and ask one of the seasoned employees - the guy who looks jaded, maybe too relaxed, playing on his phone, ask if "any of this describes the company you work for. *. Then start reading the list. He will wet his pants laughing so hard (because it's true). You are lied to from day 1. But then you become a good liar, so there's that. I could go on, list everything wrong with the culture and the abuse of the employees but just read the negative reviews. They are 100% true. Don't be fooled, you are joining a cult that worships the Taylor Family under the guise of a rental car company. OH yeah, the cars are garbage. Pushing 70k miles, multiple issues. Get swapped out of one beater into another. And after 5 years, I hate the public.

Pros

Health insurance and benefits are the only good thing about this job.

Cons

You work “40” hours a week. What a complete joke. You will work 6:45am to 7pm at night 5 days a week. You then have to work another 8-10 hours on the weekend. They promote work life balance yet you have to work 12 hour days. The branches are never staffed, you run low on cars, and the area managers never help because they too are sipping from the koolaid. This company makes you burn the candle at both ends. Do not work here. Go somewhere else that is offering a work from home type of culture.
