Pros

Benefits, will match RRSP up to 3%.

Cons

There is absolutely no work life balance. You are expected to work at minimum 48 hours a week, usually work around 52 if not more. Schedules are never made and you never know if you’re working the Saturday until Thursday/Friday night which is absolutely ridiculous. I had to ask the manager several times to start making the schedule at least a week ahead of time and it turned into a huge ordeal and argument. Had to constantly get area manager involved to fix issues which only somewhat helped as he wasn’t in the same city. Extremely underpaid for the work that we do, ie brushing off 30 cars covered in snow in -30 weather while having to dress up in professional attire. All around just not a good environment or a good place to work.

Pros

If you like long hours, a sub-par benefits package, and managers that only care about the bottom line, then this is the place for you.

Cons

Work-life balance does not exist within the bounds of Enterprise. The entry-level starting salary is appealing until you realize that it is based on mandatory OT, so expect to work 65+ hour weeks. They will sell you a pipe dream of fast-promotion, with glossy titles such as “Area Manager” or “Regional VP,” but fail to mention that these upper level positions are few and far between. It is near impossible to make it into the corporate ranks due to bias and inside politics that lead to playing favorites. This is rampant within the organization. Oh, did I mention that you are constantly competing with every Enterprise employee in the nation for these coveted “corporate positions?” Supervisors love to micromanage within their branches, so expect them to be breathing down your neck at all times. The lack of communication is another glaring issue that needs to be addressed. There should be one voice leading the employees and not three or four separate “heads” giving conflicting orders to their subordinates. From personal experience, a branch has always run more smoothly when one manager was present, not three or more.

Pros

Company car. Sometimes your computers don't not work Cool co workers that you bond with over the deplorable life quality, You do learn how to manage people, run a business and drive revenue. You learn how to market business to business. You get used to getting up extremely early and being professional.

Cons

THE PAY IS AWFUL!!! Customers are a nightmare. Many(probably all) in upper management are out of touch. Work life balance is LAUGHABLE You're a number and tool used my upper management to get where THEY want to go. Nobody respects your industry or business. Accounts will be nasty and walk all over you because they know you need them and not the other way around. Long hours (12-13 hour day regularly and you work weekends) If you ask for a vacation you're viewed as a bad guy. Airport locations you have to work on holidays (including Christmas, Thanksgiving) I was flatly and boldly lied to multiple times.
