Pros

Teaches you the basics of running your own small business

Cons

Very cliquey, terrible pay for amount of hours put in, depending on who you paired with in your area or branch could lead to a toxic work environment, most managers just teach you how to cheat the system to increase sales

Pros

The opportunities at the Enterprise are countless. Everyone has a place and until you find what you are looking for Enterprise is great at helping you along the way to find that perfect position. Work/Life balance is achievable as long as you manage your time wisely. As a Branch Rental Manager with two young children family is the center of all my focus and Enterprise allows me to be able to be a great manager and a great father. You are able to take control of your career from the start and there are always plenty of people to help along the way as long as you are willing to try to help yourself first. Great place to work, pay is fantastic.

Cons

Working in the weather, not all locations have parking garages to operate in therefore the environment can be an obstacle such as rain and cold temperatures.

Pros

Enterprise are literally teaching you to run your own business and train you in all the elements required to run a successful business. You are given a lot of responsibility early on which can seem daunting at first however there are always managers and higher up staff to help and guide you. Not a lot of businesses would give graduates with minimal business experience these opportunities. As a management trainee I have been given multiple opportunities providing an insight into the business through working at various different branches and gaining experience under lots of different management styles whilst being given the freedom to grow my own management skills and develop other members of staff. People are constantly getting promoted due to the structure enterprise have so if you’re willing to put in the work you will be recognised for it. They really don’t lie at the interview stage about career progression, people really can get promoted to the next level in as little as 6 months. Your colleagues are brilliant and really are a selling point for Enterprise. Everyone truly does get along like family and really do take interest in your development and want what’s best for you.

Cons

The hours can be long however they do worn you from the start and they don’t try to hide it, it was brought up at every stage of my interview process. Although they do try emphasising a work life balance and no one forces you to work the extra hours. You do them as your part of a team and you want everyone to be successful as your all working towards the same goal.
