Pros

You can develop a lot of skills that you can take to another company. you can also make decent money if stick with Enterprise long enough, however your transferable skills will get you more money somewhere else

Cons

A lot of hours. And I really mean it. For the past year I have average 60 hours a week, you don't get paid hourly as a Branch Manager but your Managers will expect you to work even more hours than the people who get paid hourly. All they care about is performance. If you mess up 1 month out of the year you better get back on track QUICKLY or else. (politics and people talk about each other A LOT)

Pros

Some really good people you are working with. Everyone, but higher management, are all in the same position so you feel like you are not alone. If you are willing to work 60+ hours a week on poor pay, then progression will be quick and you will probably get to management - however you work unjustifiably hard for this.

Cons

Just putting this out there so people do not waste their time in applying and going through the timely process. Firstly I wondered why/how are they always hiring? That is because people leave within a couple of months - not because of the quick progression they justify it with. They sell you the dream, you will get to management in X about of time, you will get rewarded for hard work etc. This is not the case. Firstly you agree to work a 50 hour contract plus overtime. You will spend 80% of your time driving around, cleaning cars and picking customers up. So more of a valetors job - but they are paid more. The little time you are in the office, you are expected to have extraordinary sales - upgrading customers although you have no spare cars, ripping people off ‘blind sales’ they like to call it. If you do not mind being immoral you will be fine. If you do not reach these sales you are exposed through emails to everyone in your area. It is rare you will get breaks throughout your day, although grabbing a sandwich and eating it while driving justifies them taking 30 mins a day off you for your ‘break’. The office politics and immoral actions to customers are enough to put anyone off. If you have awkward customers etc, you will still be expected to drop them home even if you are worried for your own safety. The management here clearly have their favourites, and unfortunately if you are not one of them you will not go far. Purely my opinion, but the job is not worth the £20k salary, the strain on your outside relationships and social life, the impacts on your mental and physical health. Read many reviews before applying etc.
