If you work in a major city it is very hard to have a work life balance. The hours should be illegal once you reach assistant management position. I have worked more than 60 hours a week with no over time pay. I went months without ever having a lunch break. On my feet for 12 hours. It's worst at an airport and if you work the night shift. I wouldn't have an opportunity to sit down or eat dinner until we closed after midnight, when I came in at 2:00. There is always that on going lie area managers and upper management always says.
