Pros

It really is a great engagement training program you are always learning the business (if you apply yourself). The pay is okay, but the benefits (medical and such) are pretty great. There is ton of room for promotions. Lots of overtime. If you are good at sales you will be promoted quickly.

Cons

Say good bye to all your family and friends you will not see any of them. Your coworkers will become your only point of social interaction, but most of the time they are great people but if you value any of your relationships I wouldn't recommend it. There is 0 work-life balance. If you are decent at sales you may or may not make it. Promotions are based on how well you sale not if you will be a good manager.

Pros

Loved the ability to work from home. Provided the necessary equipment and help for setting it up during training. Three full weeks of training in an online classroom setting. Plenty of support while on the phone, even when working from home.

Cons

Wasn't able to use all of my abilities to help the customer. Example: Customer needs to speak directly to the branch. I have the branch phone number in front of me and the ability to transfer them to the branch bypassing the automated system and getting them directly in touch with the front desk. I'm not supposed to do that. I'm supposed to tell the customer to hang up, call back, and listen for the correct option. I don't think that's a great experience for the customer.

Pros

The pay was really great, $12.45 an hour (Reservations Sales Representative) The hours were in the afternoon (PST) Work from home

Cons

The customers are almost always rude and entitled The metrics to get a raise are nearly impossible to hit The calls are nonstop, and you cannot ignore calls without logging out of your phone The systems that you use to book the cars are glitchy and have unclear info about policies
