Pros

I joined Enterprise as a Management Trainee, and I can confidently say that it has been an incredibly rewarding and empowering experience. From day one, I felt welcomed into a supportive and collaborative work environment that truly values its employees' growth and success. First and foremost, the comprehensive training program provided by Enterprise is outstanding. The company invests in its employees' development, equipping us with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in our roles. The hands-on training, mentorship, and shadowing opportunities allowed me to understand the ins and outs of the business while learning from experienced leaders who genuinely care about our success.

Cons

The only downside is that metrics are competitive and numbers make you stand out.

Pros

Intro to sales. I have a career in sales today because of my sales experience, and my got my start upselling the optional CDW with Enterprise.

Cons

There are many things that are political and juvenile about this company when I was there four years ago, as I worked there for almost 10 years. Point blank this companies promotion process is a sham. When I got promoted to assistant manager and ARM at a bigger location I was told I was getting the job ahead of time. Just the interview process was a formality. And there were other interviews I pretty much knew I wouldn’t be getting the job, but took the interview for experience. Higher ups even painted a picture of another higher up getting the job prior to the interview. Your matrix, sales, and customer service numbers matter but really what it comes down to is your manager’s opinion of you. While working to get promoted, you’ll work your tail off and deal with countless juvenile co-workers. I had to work a 7 to 7 for over two years and then they made me work one weekend a month where they only gave me a half day during the week. You worked in snow and extreme heat. There definitely was a clique when I worked there and inner office dating and friendships were encouraged. If you didn’t go to the monthly happy hour it was frowned upon. Much of the manager outings involved many of the higher-ups getting wasted, and some making fools of themselves. But they all thought it was cool. At this company, the most ridiculous customers often got rewarded. I got lectured twice because I didn’t stay after hours, when I was already working 50 hours a week to rent to late customers who were coming 15-30 minutes after hours. Point blank the more people complained the more they got. And Erac cared more about getting repeat business and good pr then their employee.

Pros

The money is actually decent. Decent place to start

Cons

No work/life balance. Most employees do not have kids because of it and when someone new starts with kids they are absolutely terrible at accommodations (I had an employee quit as soon as he started from this). They force you to drive everywhere. I always drove about an hour. Required to go to airport if you want to be a branch manager (unless of course you’re someone’s favorite) which means working until 3am or going in at 3am all through the months, getting screamed at for lack of vehicles. Hurricane hit and they cut our pay because they take EVERYTHING out on your checks (missing vehicles, store damages, employee salaries etc). I do not recommend staying long at all. Lastly, I was sexually harassed by a man and they’ve promoted him twice since it happened. Reported to HR and they didn’t get back to me until months later where they claimed they “wrote him up”. This guy is a real predator and they did nothing because he was a favorite. The moral compass at enterprise is very twisted. (Yes, I had proof)
