Pros

None...well a paycheck i guess.

Cons

Everything. This is a churn and burn company. Suck in fresh nuve grds with a carrot and stick sales pitch of "you'll make 6 years in 6 figures," suck them absolutely dry, then let them quit so you can paddlein the next herd of kids. Satan doesnt even deserve this type of hell. Im SO much happier since I left. I now work for an amazing fortune 500 company for more money, less hours, and a positive work space. No matrix, no carrot-stick, no glorified cab driver duties, no scum of the earth customers. If you have ANY other options, take it!

Pros

Multiple pros: Professional development Marketing (bc people say they know how to market until you show them how to market) Interpersonal Skills Business Management (if you have a bachelors in business this is a great option coming out of undergrad/grad school.) Leadership Problem Solving Consistency (if you don’t have it you will need to obtain it. it’s an important tool that can prove to be detrimental to your future success if not obtained) Trust (learn to trust your co workers, even the ones you don’t like.) Empathy (you’ll learn how to dissect people’s problems to try to provide some type of support)

Cons

Work Life Balance: You will spend 11-12 + hours at your branch per day. Some days better than others but nevertheless your aren’t compensated enough. You’ll understand why teachers should get paid more once you leave. Upper Management: the further you go up, you’ll notice how deeply attached/engaged Upper Management is. It’s almost as if we you’re in Jamestown and everyone is drinking the look aid, E V E R Y O N E. Education: They do not support you going back to school to earn your masters degree. They do not support you going to school for your masters degree. Either they want you to work for them forever or they don’t want you spend your time tying to better yourself. Either they want you to spend your every waking moment thinking about work or they don’t care that you’re wanting better yourself.
